Hey guys! Grace here. Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. Between tests and spring break, I really did not have time to post anything. So, I wanted to share a quick and fun craft that I did with my sister, Emma (8 yrs) and was really fun for her. Here's what you'll need:
-1 cup of flour
-3 teaspoons of baking soda
-1 teaspoon of salt
-About 3/4 cup of water (pancake batter consistency)
- printer paper (or a thicker cardstock)
-plastic bags
-food coloring (optional)
-large bowl
-1 cup of flour
-3 teaspoons of baking soda
-1 teaspoon of salt
-About 3/4 cup of water (pancake batter consistency)
- printer paper (or a thicker cardstock)
-plastic bags
-food coloring (optional)
-large bowl
The first thing that you're going to do is mix the flour, baking soda and salt in the bowl. Then add your water in a little at a time. It might look gross, but it works.
Divide your batter into as many plastic bags as you want colors. And color with food coloring (I just did purple)
Clip or tie the top of the bag so that nothing leaks out. Then squish and mix the coloring around. Mix until desired color. Then cut a small corner of the bag and paint your picture. (Be careful when cutting hole. Don't cut too big, otherwise, you have a mess on your hands).
After you paint, stick your painting in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Watch it puff up in the microwave.
I hope you enjoyed making this craft as much as I did! Comment down below if you want more DIY or recipe posts. Talk to y'all later!
Love, Grace
