Hi!!!
I just did this nail design and forgot the pics, (but I have one of the final result, thank goodness) so I will do as vivid descriptions of the directions as I can. This post is dedicated to Taylor, (or Tay ;-) because her nail art is AMAZING! From wild to complicated Taylor can master pretty much ANYTHING!!!!! Ok, here's what you'll need:
Nail polish
Tape
Bobby pin or dotting tool
Base and top coat
Nail polish remover
LET'S GET STARTED!
1. Put a base coat on each nail.
2. After dry, put on the color polish.
3. (Now, here comes the harder part) Put tape on a slant and paint the second color on the side that's not taped. (It's ok to get the paint on the tape because you'll remove it later and it should look fine)
4. Slowly remove that tape so you don't mess up the other coat of paint.
5. Using either your dotting tool or bobby pin, dot the tips of your nails, one by one.
6. Lastly, layer top coat on and use a Q-tip to dip in the nail polish remover and scrub the edges if there's any nail polish there. BOOM. THERE. NOW YOU GOT AWESOME NAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a tip- If you happen to dent your nails, lick your finger and gently smooth it out. I know it sounds gross but it works! It's the way the chemicals react to your saliva. Weird but True. Or, Weird but Works. :-)
