Hi everybody! I know that I just posted something for food yesterday night, but I have another warm, chocolatey recipe for you. HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!!! It's that time of year again where we make hot chocolate all the time. Now, I used to just buy a good quality mix with fancy stuff, but it all adds up $$$$$$. I have put together a simple recipe that is guaranteed to warm you up. With only 4 ingredients, this stuff is like the easiest thing to make.
- 2 heaping teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder (I used special organic)
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 teaspoons of sugar (I eyeball it)
- Mini Marshmallows
Here's how to make it:

- Heat up your milk. I heat it in the microwave for about 90 seconds. Or heat it on the stove at a low simmer.
- Take your cocoa powder and stir it into your hot milk. Make sure its combined so you don't see any of the powder. (If you do, mix as well as possible, and pop back into the microwave for 30 seconds.)
- Pour in your sugar and combine well. NO sugar floating around.
- Taste your hot cocoa and add more sugar or cocoa powder as needed, in 1/4 teaspoon increments.
- OPTIONAL: I like to put my hot chocolate back into the microwave for an extra 30 seconds after its perfect. Then, add in the marshmallows. Obviously the best part.
