hey everyone, its Grace. today is a lazy day at home preparing for our next road trip. (i'm typing all lowercase cuz i'm too lazy to press the shift button) i'm sitting on the couch listening to the little mermaid jr soundtrack (my school's play last year). but anyways, as Faith told y'all, we are going on a road trip to cape may with our families. with little kids in the cars, it is a very chaotic, crazy mess. so some tips on food first.
1. pack small snacks so that they have a variety of foods to choose from. like yogurt tubes, cheese sticks, a couple of crackers, or a small piece of fruit.
2. sour candies help a little bit with motion sickness. i have a little ziploc bag of sour sucking candies next to me at all times in the car. if they can't suck on the candies yet, sour gummies work too.
3. make it a little fun, such as cereal o's and string and let them eat off of either that or make it themselves.
now for a couple of games for the kids to play with.
1. i recommend downloading a couple episodes of their favorite movie or tv show on your mobile device.
2. a coloring book and crayons
3. and finally, little girls can play with the magnet dress-up dolls that the clothes have magnets on them. that can keep them occupied for a pretty long time.
this is not considered a food or game, but bring some sort of pillow for them to lean on for naps to snacks and toys. i hope this helped and you use these tips for your next summer road trip. see y'all later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Grace
